Flexigility and Tricks training

With Flexigility we are offering the dog the opportunity to interact with a variety of different obstacles. This helps  to improve their confidence and balance.

The obstacles include things they must step up on, walk along, go under, get in and things that make a noise or feel different etc. This includes boxes, ladders, planks, wobbly cushions, pivot blocks, balance pods etc.

When you teach your dogs tricks you give them confidence to try things out and this can be a great motivator for dogs and handlers to try more complex skills. Trick training can be done anywhere and at any time. You can spend a few minutes a day or longer. You can work with props or just use your body to train a trick, like weaving between your legs.

We incorporate trick  training into our programme and run occasional assessments to enable members to show off where they are at.

Flexigility and Trick training provide great foundations for agility, NZARO RallyO, and also other dog sports.
